The road to becoming a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys is a long one, a lot of practice, a lot of sweat, and some tears along the way. After years of preparation, a young lady in Longview paid off.

Just like cheerleaders of all ages and stages in this sport, becoming a member of the team cheering for the "Team America" or any professional sports team must be the ultimate goal. A young lady from Longview achieved this lofty goal with her years of dedication to her craftsmanship.

Kelly Norris announced on her Instagram account last weekend that she is now the official cheerleader of the Dallas Cowboys. Longview is really proud of this young lady. She invested a lot of time in her Longview dance studio, and she served as the right lieutenant in high school and as a member of the Kilgore College Rangerette team.

Like all Cowboys cheerleaders, Kelly's journey is an arduous journey. There are countless trials, exercises, rehearsals, and performances to show that they have the conditions needed to become team members and hope that they will not be laid off during the audition process. This year’s team’s journey was summarized in the CMT episode of the show "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Building a Team", in which Kelli McGonagill Finglass and director and choreographer Judy Trammell respectively showed the conditions for becoming a member and then finally to the team that produced it. disclose. When they announced the news, it was pure joy and cheer for the ladies and Keele who appeared in the video.

One of the most fascinating parts of Kelee’s story is shown in her Instagram post. She wore a Kilgore College Rangerette uniform and took a photo with two Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders three years ago, and then with the same two women when she formed the team group photo. It must be a great feeling and a very proud moment. We would like to congratulate Keele Norris of Longview for becoming the cheerleader of the Dallas Cowboys.

If you have never seen Kilgore College Rangerette's solo performance or their high kick performance, you will be able to see it when they perform at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. They have just been added as the opening performance of the parade, which will be broadcast on NBC at 8 AM on Thursday.
