Logan Ryan has this plan.

Before the start of Sunday's game against the Eagles, he had to put on his full Giants uniform, drove to the MetLife Stadium, jumped out of the car and ran to the court.

Ryan is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and requires two negative tests within 48 hours to be cleared. He actually took a second negative test, but the result was too close to the game time.

"The NFL does not allow it to be based on agreements and similar things," Ryan said on Wednesday.

He is back. After missing two games, he will play in Miami this weekend. Ryan watched the Giants lose to the Buccaneers in Tampa from his home in New Jersey, and returned home six days later to defeat the Eagles. This was a strange experience, because Ryan's family went to watch the MetLife game, and he stayed alone to watch his team on TV.

"It's weird," Ryan said. "It's weird, everyone went to the game and I stayed at home. It was just very strange and different, but these guys came forward. The guys played well and held it for me. Very inspiring. Our team There are a lot of young people in China, especially in our defense, they have just grown up."

Ryan said his COVID-19 case was "quite mild." His symptoms include sinus congestion, headaches and body aches that last several days.

"I'm doing everything I can, not what Aaron Rogers is doing, but I'm taking vitamins and drinking water," Ryan said, pounding the Packers' "immune" quarterback.

In terms of keeping his game state, Ryan must improvise. He said that he bounced on the trampoline with the children for two hours every day. He threw his children into the air. He practiced "handling" his children.

"Fortunately, I recovered quickly. I came back here to go back and forth with these people. I am very happy to be back," he said.

Ryan saw Xavier McKinney complete his fifth interception of the season last week, and Julian Love made a critical recovery from Ryan's position. He likes what he sees. He also began to realize what he needed to give his young teammates, he said that this was a lesson he learned from watching their actions.

"When I was out, I just saw what my role was-to bring energy, to be an infectious leader, to be infectious and resilient, and to continue to lead the players to their effect," Ryan said. "No matter if I play perfect or not, the players need my leadership and the players also need me to be there. It has nothing to do with whether you miss a tackle or not, but about how you respond to the next game, because the game is not perfect. But our players finally found a way to play. I think I kind of feel my role and what it needs to be.

"This is the direction of the future. This person is contagious in my energy and will attract everyone around me."
