Colorado Springs-Trampoline gymnastics is an interesting sport, but it is also a complex sport. In the competition, the highest score for each athlete may be 30. Although it may seem fun at times, trampoline gymnastics is more challenging than some people may realize.

There are 9 trampoline gymnastics judges, 1 jury chairman, 5 executive judges, 2 difficulty judges, and 1 combat judge. So, while trying to look effortless, they were also scored on several things. The judges will check whether the athlete's body is straight, whether the legs are close together, and how and where they landed. They want to land near the center of the bed.

News5 reporter Caroline Peters spent a morning at Stars Gymnastics. Coach Michelle Maccagnan and the athletes demonstrated several trampoline gymnastics.

Trampoline gymnastics will last two days. The US women's team will be led by Nicole Ahsinger, while the men's team will be led by world silver medallist Aliaksei Shostak. The women's individual event will be held at 11:50 am on Friday, July 30, and the men's individual event will be held on Saturday.
