On May 28, multi-platinum Country singer Dylan Scott put on a high energy filled performance as the guest artist starring in Oak Groves Spring into Summer Salute festival. Thousands came out to attend the two day event that was filled with food, fun and fellowship.

On May 28, multi-platinum Country singer Dylan Scott put on a high energy filled performance as the guest artist starring in Oak Groves Spring into Summer Salute festival. Thousands came out to attend the two day event that was filled with food, fun and fellowship.

Over the weekend, thousands were in attendance at Oak Grove’s 14th Annual International & Regional award-winning “Spring into Summer Salutes Ft. Campbell” festival.

The two day fest took place on May 28-29, with activities on Saturday from 12 until 9 p.m. and on Sunday, part two of the festival began at noon and wrapped up around 6 p.m.

Spring into Summer Salute returned with many performances such as a trampoline show, big bee robot car transformation, pirate high wire performance, an area dedicated for kids, friends and family alike with pools filled with bubble solution and bubble wands known as the bubble zone ending both days with a grand firework show.

At the festival adults and children were seen with big smiles on their faces riding roller coaster rides and were enjoying carnival food such as funnel cakes, massive sandwiches, deep fried goodies amongst several other tasty treats.

On Saturday on May 28, the headliner of this year’s festival was an American Country singer and songwriter, Dylan Scott, who took the stage at the Viceroy Amphitheater. The multi-platinum country singer is a triple threat, a powerful vocalist with a deep, unmistakable soulful drawl. Scott has climbed the charts reaching a billion streams. His Gold-certified ode to his wife, “Nobody,” earned him a 2021 CMT Music Award. The Louisiana native has provided tour support for Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, and Chris Young, among others, cementing him as an in-demand live act.

Scott put on a stellar performance that brought out generations of all ages. The crowd was full of energy joining in with song and dance throughout the evening. Scott performed some of his top hits while also taking it back, performing classic country hits in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Couples, children, family and friends were seen having a ball the entire evening.

Spring into Summer brought thousands of the community together for a weekend of carnival food, roller coaster rides, performances, live music and most importantly fellowship. Each year the Summer Salute is a big hit with much anticipation this year due to the festival being put on hold since the pandemic.It was a beautiful weekend with clear skies both days. The festival was a huge success with even more anticipation for next year.
