R.O.B. is a character that's very popular in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but also infamous among those that don't play him. One of R.O.B.'s greatest strengths is his ability to take stocks thanks to a combination of throwing a held Gyro and aerials. This eventually leads to the Robotic Operating Buddy using his side special near one of the side blast zones to finish off opponents.

TDAS|Sinji, one of the best Pac-Man users in the world for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, recently found himself in a match with a R.O.B. player. With Sinji being behind by a stock, the opponent opted to utilize R.O.B.'s all so familiar combo with the hopes of ending the game.

Either the opponent messed up their execution or didn't consider R.O.B.'s rage, but this somehow led to Sinji escaping the deadly Rotor Arm attack at the last second. Pac-Man was able to break free using his up special, the Pac-Jump.

Upon using the Pac-Jump, Pac-Man and R.O.B. ended up trading blows near the left blast zone. Like many multi-hitting attacks, Rotor Arm seemingly sent Pac-Man downwards as R.O.B. was unable to connect with the last hit of the side special.

This resulted in Pac-Man landing back on the trampoline that was spawned via the Pac-Jump. This resulted in R.O.B. taking another hit immediately after the trade.

More than likely, Sinji's opponent was holding left in hopes of pushing Pac-Man closer to the blast zone. Since the interaction happened so quickly, this probably resulted in suicidal directional influence.

Needless to say, R.O.B. ended up losing a stock in a situation where the player probably expected to be the one taking the stock. Check it out below:
