Caterpillar is looking for workers in the following positions at its Mapleton location:

"We are looking for candidates who want to start and/or continue in manufacturing," Caterpillar said in an email statement. "Our roles include: first-class training, medical benefits, quarterly rewards with guaranteed payment, employee discount programs, and more!"

Caterpillar also opened dozens of other positions in Peoria, East Peoria, Morton, and Mosville.

Morton Industries is looking for "50 outstanding talents to start or advance their careers" and provide on-site job training. 

Welders and machine operators are the main positions Morton Industries is hiring. 

Troy Deiss, Human Resources Manager at Morton Industries, said: "Even welders, we will give them a'trial test' to work with the trainer for an hour, and then we will determine together whether they are capable of learning welding."

Precision Planting in Tremont is looking for a quality inspector and a digital inbound marketing expert. 

Quality Metal Products is hiring CNC mechanics for the first and second shifts.

"Experience is preferred, but not required." 

Bump Boxes is looking for employees in revenue, operations, and marketing. 

In operation, it is looking for:

Natural Fiber Welding has 25 openings. 

Anchor's Away has just opened a new store at 8807 Knoxville Avenue and is looking for full-time and part-time cashiers and experienced chefs. 

Elevate Trampoline Park is hiring at its locations in Peoria and East Peoria. 

Louisville Slugger Sports Complex is also hiring.  

Peoria Charter Coach is still hiring drivers for its routes in Illinois and across the country.

It also recruits bus cleaners in the third shift.

"This is hard work, cold in winter and hot in summer," the company said in an e-mailed statement. But, "It's fun, and there are great staff to work with."

Peoria's healthcare industry is based on OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center and UnityPoint, and continues to look for a large number of employees in many positions and departments.
