One of the largest water parks in Texas, Typhoon Texas is a quintessential summer destination. The park, which reopened April 16, features a 27,000-square-foot wave pool and 33 slides. With water slides, a lazy river, live entertainment, a wave pool, private cabana and dining and drink options, Typhoon Texas is a good attraction for a full day of fun.

Beat the heat and catch a summer blockbuster at Katy's kitschiest movie theater. Alamo Drafthouse not only offers a full menu and bar, it pays homage to all-things cinema with film festivals, celebrity guests and special events.

Indoor entertainment racing center Andretti Karting and Games offers the latest technology in entertainment racing and gaming. Named for the iconic Andretti racing family, the 90,000 square foot facility is packed with activities focused around racing and gaming. Every feature, from the virtual reality battlefronts to the eponymous race tracks, has an authentic sensory experience.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games
Cool off with a scoop of ice cream at Howdy Homemade Ice Cream. The frozen dessert shop offers 18 different flavors of ice cream. As an added benefit, Howdy Homemade employs individuals with special needs, providing them with meaningful employment in a loving environment.

Hundreds of people flocked to the new ice cream franchise, owned and run by Houston rap artist, activist and philanthropist Trae tha Truth and his business partner Roderick Batson. The shop's mission is not just to serve up hand scooped ice cream but to also give employment opportunities to adults with special needs.
This interactive and high tech driving range is perfect for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Topgolf features 102 bays, all of which are climate controlled. The venue also features a full bar and restaurant. With competitive play options, it's a good destination for a large group.
