According to Trend, the opening ceremony of the 28th FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Competition has been held at the Baku National Gymnastics Arena.

During the ceremony, the national flags of participating countries were brought into the lobby of the National Gymnastics Arena. The national anthem of Azerbaijan was played.

Take oaths on behalf of referees, gymnasts and coaches. The vow once again reminds people to observe the principles of healthy competition, fair judgment and fairness in sports.

Representative gymnast, Azerbaijani athlete, competition participant Seljan Masudova took the oath.

Then a wonderful gymnastics performance was performed.

The competition will last four days (November 25-28).

A total of 650 athletes from 32 countries around the world participated in the competition. In the competition, gymnasts will perform in the 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-21 age groups. They are participating in individual and synchronized trampoline projects, as well as tumbling track and double mini trampoline projects.

The World Series for each age group includes qualifying and final performances. According to regulations, one contestant can participate in different programs.

Azerbaijan has 15 gymnasts participating in the competition-Seljan Mahsudova, Mahsud Mahsudov, Ammar Bakhshaliyev, Ibrahim Mustafazade, Mehdi Aliyev, Nijat Mirzayev, Ali Niftaliyev, Shafiga Humbatova, Sama Jafarova (trampoline events); Tofal Hajiybanov, Hibern Asadullayev, Aleksey Karatashov and Elnur Mammadov (Acrobatic Jumping Project).

According to the requirements of quarantine regulations, the competition will be conducted without spectators.
