Amazon is preparing to open another Amazon Fresh Store in Northern Virginia.

According to a license filed with Prince William County, the e-commerce company is leasing 45,035 square feet in Sadley Manor Plaza, a shopping mall in Manassas, Virginia.

According to the Washington Business Daily, which first reported on the lease, the grocery store will be located at 7807 Sudley Road, one of three stores that replaced the 104,690-square-foot Kmart that closed in 2013.

The owner is an entity called Princeton Virginia LLC, which has owned the shopping center since 1998. It is managed by Seneca Properties, headquartered in Bethesda.

The Greater Washington area has witnessed many firsts in the Amazon grocery chain. Amazon Fresh opened its first East Coast store in Franken, Virginia. Its second and third stores are also in the DC area, one in Chevy Chase, Maryland, which opened in August, and another in the Logan Circle neighborhood of DC. It is also the first company to adopt Amazon's no-checkout model.

According to the lease flyer from Seneca Properties, the Manassas supermarket will be located between Sky Zone Trampoline Park and AutoZone.

According to previous reports by SFBJ, four other Amazon fresh food stores are planned in Fairfax, Lorton, Bailey, and Potomac Fields in Northern Virginia. If there are no locations in Maryland and Washington, DC, this would increase by six.

Amazon declined to comment. Seneca Properties did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
