From countless trampolines to scavenger pits to virtual reality - in the Tanoshii fun park in Altstätten there is one attraction after the next.Anyone who thinks that this is only for children is wrong: every adult can have a lot of fun here too.The park opens next week.Until then, however, there is still a lot to do in the approximately 4000 square meter hall.“We have been busy with the construction work since June. The last few weeks have been quite exhausting - so we'll be happy when it's finally starting," says Reto Schirmer, owner of the Funpark Tanoshii.Schirmer has been in the trampoline business for a long time.He also owns the «Fägnäscht» indoor playground in Rorschach. But now there should be "next level fun", as the slogan says.«We have been looking for a larger property for a long time.We didn't actually plan for the park to be so big, but the hall is perfect and we had to take the chance."Schirmer and his co-owners get the inspiration for the games and attractions from travel, among other things."We look at parks around the world, analyze guest reactions and look for the things that work best."Innovations can also be discovered at special trade fairs.Schirmer tried to make the best mix out of all this.By the way, this is what it looks like when professionals are at work:A post shared by tanoshii_funpark (@tanoshii_funpark)The trampoline park offers so many highlights that it is almost impossible to list them all: from the "wipe-out" game, to the "valo jump", to the ninja course and the virtual reality holo gates, is for something for everyone. You can spend hours in the park."The hall is a big deal in Switzerland and internationally," says Schirmer. He also likes to try out the attractions himself."At the moment it's a bit difficult in terms of time, but I hope that will change again soon".The name "Tanoshii" is no coincidence, Schirmer explains: "My wife is Japanese and the Japanese word means something like 'I'm fine' or 'I'm happy'.The idea, of course, is that you feel the same way in our park."And the self-experiment shows: That's definitely how you feel.Whether it's a somersault attempt on the huge trampoline or feeling like you're in a ball pool for adults in the schnitzel pit - the fun park is definitely a lot of fun.The Funpark Tanoshii in Altstätten will be open from September 17th – you pay 18 francs for one hour.Up to 200 people can jump around the hall at the same time.
